No more trips to Monkey Canyon this year... its getting cooler and the water is going to be like ice till next summer. If you missed out this year, hope to catch you next year!

Monkey Canyon is a cliff diving spot that we love to go to and we are always looking for more divers... and you don't necessarily have to jump either, its alot of fun just hiking down there to enjoy the outdoors.
Here is a brief description of a usual trip:
Monkey Canyon is located in mountains north of Sunland. Its an hour from Encino. Starting with a nice drive through the mountains then a steep hike (using ropes in some places)about a 1/2 mile downhill. From there it is an easy walk down the river until you finally hit the cliff diving spot where you can jump off medium and high jumps or take a natural waterslide formed into the cliffside. After several hours of bliss, we will make the tough hike back up the hill then catch a snack and a congratulatory drink! soo... who's coming with me?
