    Tracking The Presidential Election

Tuesday, November 4, 2008, 03:51 PM PST [General]

After placing my vote this morning we came home and have been tracking the election as it unfolds.  Its pretty cool how closely the election is followed in our technologically advanced world.  With the crazy world of online media everyone is able to literally be "plugged in" 24/7 no matter where they are.  With Twitter.com you can check the "tweets" of voters all over the country, enabling us to really hear the voice of the voter public.  We literally are able to see everything as it happens.

This is my first time voting in a presidential election and I gotta say it feels pretty good.  Going to bed last night was kinda like Christmas Eve, I couldnt wait to wake up and vote this morning =)

Last night a few of us got together to go over the 12 propositions on the ballot this year.  I can only hope that everyone took the time to properly inform themselves about these important props for California.  Before sitting down and examining the propositions I thought I was pretty sure on what I was voting for but I definitely wasnt.  I was sure that Iwould be voting Yes on the Alternative Energy Props but after giving them a second look I voted No.

Our world is changing....right now.....and every single one of us are a part of it.

    Obama-Biden Tax Calculator

Wednesday, October 29, 2008, 07:05 PM PST [General]

Barack Obama and Joe Biden will cut taxes for 95% of working families, and provide at least three times as much tax relief for middle class families as John McCain and Sarah Palin. The Obama/Biden plan provides $1,000 of tax relief for workers and new tax benefits to help families pay for college, childcare and save for retirement.
